Reining Changes - June 9, 2006
Stallion Owners, Exhibitors and Spectators
Reining at the Canadian Supreme was introduced several years ago as part of our Stallion/Foal Program. The intention was to give foal owners a place to show their offspring.
We believe strongly in this Program and in support of this Program, will continue to offer reining as a key component of the Supreme Show. This year, we will be offering an Open Reining with classes very similar to previous years. The American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Rules for Reining, section #451 in the AQHA Official Handbook and the AQHA reining patterns will be used.
Any discrepancies will be dealt with by Canadian Supreme show management and all show management decisions are final. Two experienced judges have been retained to judge the show. In addition, the winners of all classes will receive the prestigious Canadian Supreme belt buckle.
The Supreme continues to be one of the largest spectator attended shows in the Pacific North West. It is an excellent showcase for you and your horses. We look forward to hosting another successful event in September. See you in Red Deer.
