General Information

Everyone wants a winner!  When mare owners are choosing a stallion, they are looking for an outstanding individual to sire their future champion.  When people are looking to purchase a young horse, not only are they looking at the bloodlines but the potential of the horse.  Subscribing your stallion to the Canadian Supreme Breeders Group program is a way to improve the number and quality of mares in your stallions court.  Here is how the Canadian Supreme Breeders Group program works:

Stallion owners subscribe their stallions every year by July 1st for $800.00. There is a $200.00 late penalty for subscribing after July 1st. The stallion owner provides the breeding report which results in the current year's yearlings.  (ie. Stallions subscribed in 2010 provide the 2008 breeding report). Mare owners are contacted and made aware of the opportunity provided by the stallion owner and should they choose, they may nominate their yearlings for a fee of $80.00 each. Owners of nominated horses are contacted and encouraged to participate in the Canadian Supreme 3 and 4 Year Old Classes.

 

 

 

The Junior Stallion Program was introduced in 1997, and has been well received.  This program is for those stallions who do not as of yet have yearlings eligible for nomination.  The cost is $250 per year and these stallions receive the same advertising and promotion as the senior stallions. The following items pertain to the 2010 Canadian Supreme Classes:

3 year olds Open and Non Pro Cutting Futurity 3 year olds Open and Non Pro Snaffle Bit Futurity 3 year olds Open and Non Pro Reining Futurtiy 4 year olds Open and Non Pro Cutting Maturity 4 year olds Open Hackamore 4 year olds Non Pro Snaffle Bit/Hackamore 4 year olds Open and Non Pro Reining Derby

 

 

 

Canadian Supreme stallions will be showcased in a new and improved booth in an exciting new location in the trade fair area. Deadlines for 2010 are:
