In 1992 the mare was retired to broodmare. Her complimentary conformation and abilities have proven to be an amazing match for Thunderstruck Ranch’s (Jim Dobler & Heather McLevin) stallion, High Sign Nugget, producing numerous Canadian Supreme, NRHA, ARCHA & ApHC World Champions.

Her first foal by High Sign Nugget was born in 1993. High Test was trained by Brad Pedersen and would go on to win both the 1996 Canadian Supreme Open Reining and Snaffle Bit Futurities, 1996 ARCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity, a Canadian Supreme Reserve Open Working Cow Horse Championship, 3 Reserve World Championships and in 1998 a World Championship.

High Noon is her next success story. In 1998 he became the Canadian Supreme Reserve Non Pro Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion, repeating again in 1999 as well as winning the CS Open to the World Non Pro Snaffle Bit.

High Potential was born in 1996. This filly would be sent to Locke Duce for training and proved to be just as talented as “Velve’s” previous offspring. In 1999 Brad Pedersen rode her to a Reserve Championship at the Appaloosa Reining Horse Association (ApRHA) Open Reining Futurity in Fort Worth, TX. High Potential retired from showing in 2001 after winning her 3rd World Championship in Working Cow Horse.
