Brad and his wife, Heather, with their sons Clay and Blair own and operate their own cutting and working cow horse training facility north of Lacombe, Alberta. Brad has professionally trained horses for nineteen years working for noted trainers such as Brenda Clemens, Vicki Braun, Kevin Pole and Les Timmons. His seven-year tenure with Les introduced him to training cutting and working cow horses and also began a very special partnership with the infamous white Appaloosa stallion High Sign Nugget aka Spot. Between Les, Brad, and Spot’s owners, Jim Dobler and Heather McLevin, Spot earned a permanent place in the Canadian Supreme record books by winning the snaffle bit futurity, hackamore, and bridle classes.

Brad has enjoyed a great deal of success at the Canadian Supreme and is the only rider to have won eleven consecutive snaffle bit futurity championships. He has also won the Open to the World Open 3 year old cutting futurity, Canadian Supreme Open 3 year old cutting futurity twice, plus numerous reserve championships and finalists in the derby and classic challenge classes.

The Canadian Supreme is the only show in Canada that showcases three different performance equine disciplines. Perhaps the youngest to be inducted into the Canadian Supreme Hall of Fame, Brad plans to continue hauling horses for many years to compete for the generous cash and prizes offered by the Canadian Supreme.
