Yearling Nominations Due December 31, 2011
If you own a 2011 yearling (2010 foal) by one of the Canadian Supreme Nominated Stallions, your yearling is eligible to compete in the 2013 and 2014 Canadian Supreme Futurity/Maturity Classes. Yearling Nominations are due December 31, 2011. The cost is just a one-time payment of $80 per yearling. Click on Yearling Nominations to print a yearling nomination package.

For seven days, from September 23rd to 29th, 2012, the Westerner Exhibition in Red Deer, Alberta, will host the Canadian Supreme - the most prestigious Cutting, Reining and Cow Horse show in Canada.

Shannon has produced a great painting for use as the advertising poster and show program cover in 2011. Twenty five (25) s/n limited edition giclee prints and five (5) Artist Proof giclees will be available for purchase. Shannon is taking pre-orders on the first ten limited edition giclees. The purchasers of the first ten prints can pick them up at the Canadian Supreme or have them mailed out post Supreme. The goal of the Canadian Supreme is to preserve and promote the useful training traditions of the western horseman.  The performance-oriented enthusiast of the California-style does not necessarily look to any particular breed of horse but rather for the animals with cow "savvy" and, at the same time, one that responds to the demands of the rider.
